We're looking for a Fullstack engineer to join our Ads Engineering team. You will be working closely with product managers, product marketing managers, designers, and engineers across various tech stacks; you'll play an important role in enabling the newest technologies and experiences. You will build robust features and frameworks. You will empower both Advertisers and Pinners alike. You'll have the opportunity to find creative solutions to thought-provoking problems. Even better, because we covet the kind of courageous thinking that's required in order for big bets and smart risks to pay off, you'll be invited to create and drive new initiatives, seeing them from inception through to technical design, implementation, and release.

What you'll do:

  • Build exciting ad products for partners that can potentially help monetize the platform, incentivize native content creation and/or help Pinners flow down the conversion funnel.
  • Collaborate with different disciplines and engineering teams to build a robust, performant and seamless ads experience on Pinterest.
  • Run A/B experiments for product features and optimizations with data analysis on results.
  • Work with designers and product managers to prioritize features and ship to production.

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in Python, Java, or Go
  • Some experience in JavaScript, iOS or Android development
  • Experience building user-facing products
  • Passion for product quality and building systems to ship high quality releases

Colorado based applicants only:

  • The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $155,300 to $232,900 in Colorado;
  • This position is eligible for equity; and

  • This compensation and benefits information is based on Pinterest's good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, travel, shift requirements, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.
